Subject: unusual Finding

Hi there,
My ferret wheezes at night and he will lay right next to the
humidifier, he had blood work and x-rays done last week, no
enlarged heart or fluid, bloodwork was Ok. Today I noticed
something unusual.
My question on the top of his head when you run your finger
down his head, it feels like their is a large
vein going down his head.
Why would you be able to feel a vein??
