Subject: Comfort while waiting for adrenal surgery day to
arrive-Suggestions Needed

arrive-Suggestions Needed

My little Bandit was a give-away from a friend of a friend
a year or so ago. He fit in nicely with the rest of the
group and seems very happy to be here since I didnt get any
paperwork when he came to us, I got his shots updated a
physical exam and we are guessing hes over three years old
but not more than four/five. He is a Marshalls Ferret
Brown Male Sable. Over the past six months or so he has
developed some symptoms which the vet and I suspect are
adrenal. He has some hair loss on the tops of his back feet,
thinning fur between his front shoulder blades and a balding
spot between his ears, the usual itchiness, and aggressive
mounting, and ear sucking behavior.

I have gotten some estimates as to what the adrenal surgery
will cost and it ranges from $265 - $875. I have made an
appointment for a second opinion to review the symptoms and
tentatively scheduled surgery since the vet is over an hour
away Blue Stone Vet, Dr. Eisle on January 31st/February1st.

Do you have any suggestions as to how I can make him
comfortable with his symptoms while waiting for his
appointment & potential surgery for the next two weeks?
