Subject: Early Adrenal, to operate or not

I have an healthy 8 year old neutered male ferret, who has be
diagnosis with early stage of adrenal. All blood work has
come back normal, but the signs are itchy skin and spotty hair
loss. He is do for surgery on Thursday February 7, 2002. The
question is: At his age should I operate or not? Please
