Hi Again Ronald! :P
I had a ferret that was about 8 years old (he was a rescue) who was
showing signs of adrenal. Bloodwork came back good and he was a
strong ferret so I went ahead with the surgery. I know it made him
feel better and he came through just fine! I think if they are
strong and a good healthy candidate, better to do it now then to wait
for symptoms to get worse and possibly comprimise his health. If
your fella was my ferret, I would go ahead with the surgery as long
as the vet is a ferret knowledgeable and competent surgeon.
Best of luck!
Sincerely,
Erin
