Subject: new ferret

Hi Everyone, I ahve 2 ferrets, Mandy who is7 1/2, healthy but blind,
and Buster (Tubby) who is 7 and also in good health. Last month we
lost Barney to insulinoma and the kids are finally getting back to
their old self. This morning a friend of mine asked me if I would
like to adopt his 4 month old ferret because they dont have the
time for him. (Dont people realize that they require time and care,
and they are not throwaways Sorry for the anger) My question is will
my other 2 ferrets who have the run of the house have a problem
adapting. This little guy hasnt been out of his cage since December
and I dont think hes very social. Buster is almost 4 pounds and can
take care of himself, but Mandy weighs 1 pound if shes lucky. Also
is there a risk of ECE. Please give me some suggestions as I am
confused about what to do. Is my heart ruling over my head? You that
you can never have to many ferrets, but im concerned about the age
difference. Thank You, Kathie and gang
