Subject: re: green urine

Hi, My Avery seems to be having some green urine. I took him to the
vet and he didn't seem worried about it. He told me he would be
fine. I'm not sure this vet has worked much with ferrets. He didn't
want to pretreat Avery with benadryl before his distemper shot
because he said that most ferrets will not have a reaction to it. I
asked him to do it anyway just to be safe. And he didn't really seem
to have time for my questions. The vet didn't even check Avery over
at all, even though I was billed for an exam. He just gave him the
shot and sent him on his way. Should I be worried about the green
urine? Should I ask the vet to check him out or go to a different
one? There are several in town I could try. This time I'll be more
persistent in finding out their history with ferrets this time. The
vet seemed very nice, just very busy, so I don't know what to do.
Thanks for the advice. You can email me privately if you wish.
