DOSAGE QUESTIONS: FERRETS EXHIBITING ECE SYMPTOMS AS PER DR
                  WILLIAMS FAQ
Presented with extreme dehydration, anorexia, green mucousy
                  diarrhea, mouth pawing, dry retching
1.7 LB 5 yr old female, 1.3 lb 2-1/2 yr old female, 8 wk
                  old male exact weight unknown
How much, how often and for how long should these be used to
                  treat ECE symptomatic ferrets?
Are they the best thing to use in this situation?
Clindamycin Hydrochloride Oral Liquid - Insert reads under
PRECAUTIONS: "should be avoided in those species sensitive
to the gasrointestinal affects of clindamycin" would a
ferret with ECE be considered just such a species? Could
administering 12.5 mg/12 hr exacerbate a case of ECE in the
above described animals? Package insert reads "Vomiting
and diarrhea" Why would we want anymore of that in ECE
infected Ferrets? Is there any data to support possible
toxicity levels with high dose usage?
Lopermide 10 mg in 20 ml nac* That's the best I can make
out the handwriting on the bottle (*not sure about the nac
                    could be nal)
                    Sub-Q Normasol injection

                  Respectfully
