Joy,
As long as they are eating well, and you aren't seeing *dramatic*
weight loss, I wouldn't worry about it. It is probably due to fat
loss. I have seen this in older ferrets I have brought home from pet
stores. They sit around in the store displays getting fat, and then
run it all off as soon as they get time out at home. I have had them
lose as much as a half a pound like this.
