Subject: new ferret
Hi again, We just got the 4 month old little(?) guy
from our friend. He's already as big as our little
girl. He's going to be a big guy. I forgot how much
energy they have. Wow! I called his vet yesterday and
she gave me an excellent history. He's in good health
and current on his shots.I will keep him away from my
other 2 for a while. Its funny but no vet around here
has heard of ECE. (Wisconsin) Is it the same as green
slime disease? I let him have the run of the bathroom
for a little while (of course its ferretproofed) and
when I put him back in his cage he looked so
depressed. Since he's been caged since before
Christmas (he was in a cage in the basement and
sometimes didn't have food and water for days poor
kid) He will get lots of playtime and hugs. Will let
you know if we run into trouble. Thanks for all the
comments on my last post about getting him. Kathie,
