Subject: Preliminary Autopsy Finding

From the notes I took during the Autopsy of Farrah.
Performed 46 hours after death.

Hemorrhagic Duodenum and pancreas.
Rest of the intestine, colon, liver and spleen appear normal.
Kidneys appears hemorrhagic
Large amount of blood in the stomach.
Evidence of duodenal ulcers.
Pancreatitis possible.

When he was finished and we sat down to discuss his findings,
game and fish arrived with a beautiful golden eagle that had
been struck on the highway. Needless to say our visit was
over. (Hope he was able to save him)

Now I am left with even more unanswered question for the time
being. He wasn't sure where would be the best place to send
the tissue samples for pathology. He mentioned CSU (Colorado
State) but I got the feeling he wasn't sure how ferret
knowledgeable they would be.

Now I am on another quest to find the best pathologist for the
job. I guess there is no big hurry now since the tissues are
in
Formalin. I'm not looking forward to searching all over the
country for the right person, but I have to try and find one
who will be able to provide the most comprehensive answers.
