Subject: Re: Vets: Is there a substitute for Flagyl?

Contact Ritzman Pharmacy ( http://www.ritzmanpharmacies.com/ for a
list of locations) They are in Ohio, but they ship (regular for free,
overnight for a fee), and the best thing is that they flavor meds
from the start (they don't flavor OVER the existing flavor). You know
that terrible tasting Proglycem? (Chocolate Mint is NOT a ferret
favorite) Well, they flavored it like Linatone and now my ferret that
almost died from the stress of taking the original Proglycem (that
combined with him not getting half of his meds from spitting them
out) takes his meds like they are a treat, he was hesitant at first,
but with some time, he trusts that the bad tasting meds aren't coming
anymore. They flavored Pedia Pred for someone I know too so I would
think they can do Flagyl. My Proglycem shipped overnight is still
about $40 cheaper than getting it at any of our local pharmacies here
in PA, however I think the Pedia Pred was a little more. Regular
shipping I get my order within 5 days typically (from the vet calling
it in to it arriving at my door), however they request 7 days notice
(I got my very first order from them rushed and they shipped it
overnight the same day they got my Rx. They are GREAT!!!!! I got the
info from someone out here a little while back...can't remember her
name, but I'm forever grateful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck!
