Subject: Compounding nasty tasting meds
Our Harley has to take prednisone daily. We take 30mg prednisone,
crush to a very fine powder and mix with 1 oz ferritone. He takes
1/2 tsp daily. No problems. You do have to make certain you shake
very well as it has a tendency to settle. Could you not do the same
thing with Flagyl. Just be certain to get the proper dosage ratios.
