Some of them tolerate small amounts of asprin and some don't.
We had one with severe bleeding after trying tiny amounts of
asprin on her when she was throwing clots from advanced
cardiomyopathy. Asprin's an option but when trying it watch
carefully since not all individuals do well with it.

On the other hand, we had one with lymphoma who needed
opiates and steroids and that combination for her was incredible
for pain relief and providing greatly improved quality of life. Yes, it
was prescription and the opiates were very controlled
prescription drugs but they sure were worth it.

OTC (Over the counter) drugs can be very dangerous for ferrets
at times.
