Dear Tina:

FOr what it is worth, I do not believe that this neoplasm represents
a cutaneous metastasis of an adrenal neoplasm, wither based on my
experience with these neoplasms, or based on the histologic
description. I've seen thousands of them, and not one has ever
metastasized to the skin.

However, it does sound like a poorly differentiated scent gland
carcinoma, which suggests that you should watch this one very
carefully. These tumors commonly recur following incomplete
excision, and metastasis to local lymph nodes is occasionally seen.

With kindest regards,

Bruce Williams, dVM
