Subject: Enlarged lymph glands
I would be hesitant to do this, I would at least want a CBC,
and because of age a chemistry profile and ask about
biopsy a node to confirm a diagnosis-
Is the ferret ill? Lethargic, sleeping more, or otherwise not
acting right?
I am not a vet, and I am just putting in my 2 cents here, I
would also discuss things more with your vet, in the meantime
go through the internet sites Sukie listed ( ferretcentral, archives
of the FHL, Dr. Williams' site, Miamiferret site to name a few)
get all the info you can on Lymphoma in ferrets, and take it from
there.
