Subject: re: vaccinations

Katherine-

How knowledgeable is your vet? Vaccinations should ONLY be given to
helathy animals- not compromised animals. The fact that the vet realized
the nodes were enlarged and still vaccinated would make my hair stand on end.

Swollen nodes can be indicative of infection. Many times low grade
infections will smoulder causing the nodes to enlarge. Otherwise indeed it
may be lymphoma but it is always best to rule out the cause possibility of
infection before establishing a possible presence of lymphoma.

IN EITHER CASE suspecting a medical problem I cannot see why any vet would
vaccinate two Vaccines on a health compromised animal. The end result of
reactions during the vaccination process has added more health compromises
to your ferret. I would be finding another vet post haste!
Just my opinion as a ferret caretaker-
