Subject: I need some help interpreting my ferrets CBC results
I am new here and this is my first post, I was referred here by one
of your other members.
I was wondering if I could get some help interpreting my ferrets
complete blood count results.
Here they are:
HCT = 60.4 %
HGB = 18.8 g/dl
MCHC = 31.1 g/dl
WBC = 6.5 x 10^9 /L
GRANS = 3.4 x 10^9 /L
%GRANS = 52 %
L/M = 3.1 x 10^9 /L
%L/M = 48 %
PLT > 897 x 10^9
RESULTS BASED ON ADULT CANINE CELL SIZE.
note: ^ = to the power of
What are the normal ranges of these results for a ferret?
