That is not approved for ferrets. Only United's Fervac-D and Merial's
Purevax Ferret Distemper Vaccine are USDA approved for distemper in
ferrets. If your vet doesn't know that, it's time to look for another
vet. Some vets will give Galaxy-D, but it is an off-label use though it
seems to be effective. Ferrets don't need any of the other things yours
got besides the distemper. In two weeks he can get a dose of Merial's
IMRAB-3 for his rabies vaccination.
