Subject: Melatonin ???
Hello fellow ferret lovers!
I am wondering what melatonin is used for in ferrets. I see a lot
of posts for melatonin.
I would appreciate any feedback from members as to why this
supplement is used.
Oh also, I would like to pose this question to the panel. We have
six fuzzies and 2 kitties (whom I am sure will never forgive us for
bringing in our nortorious six) the ferrets do something that we
find odd and are wondering if any of you have seen this behavior in
your ferrets around the kitties. Rowan and Holly, the cats, will be
layin on the rug or just sitting around as cats love to do and our
masters of chaos will approach the cats and immediately lay flat and
just start staring at the cats. They will lay there for some time
until they either get bopped on the head with a paw or the cats will
bolt away from the ferrets. Can anyone explain this behavior ? Any
input would be very much appreciated.
