Hi Mike. The thermostat in almost the other end of our all metal mobile
home with no shade was reading 75 (on cold days I keep it at 68 and in the
summer 78 normally though I may have to change that). Their room is in the
far end of the house from the heat/AC so the air flow isn't wonderful there,
and the sun shines on that end of the house all day plus there's a window
(drapes and blinds drawn at least but doesn't help a lot) for the sun to get
it's heat through as well. It felt like about 80 in there when I went in
(don't keep the door shut at all unless they're out and running around), and
it was stale as well. As soon as I realized it, I cleared a path to the
other end of the house (their cage is too heavy) and pushed them into my
master bath (kicking the cats food, water, and litterbox out) and turned on
the AC a little bit and shut the door to get it nice and cool in there for
them. The interesting thing is that my male is perfectly fine. Thanks
again Mike!

When you say a hot room, what kind of temperature are you talking
about?

cool it down in case that was the problem. I let her out of the cage
again for a couple minutes and she lied flat next to the AC vent for
a minute and wandered around and had a drink and took a peice of food
and hid it and had some more ferretone. Does it sound like she might
just have been too hot?
