Subject: [Ferret-Health-list] Re: Fw: Need Help ASAP!!!!!

Thanks Mike! Maybe it just depends on the critter since my male is fine. I
know that I hate the heat as well and don't do well in it same as my German
Shepherd who was born here in the area (I've never seen her cold and she
lives in the garage when we're on vacation in the Rockies!). Thanks so much
for the help. I will figure out something to do temporarily when it's hot
out (we had highs of about 70 today outside which heats up the house quite a
bit) at least until hubby gets home or I stop working so much (which I hope
is soon). Thanks again! I'll let you all know how she's doing in the
morning. :-)

80 degrees is a little warmer than they like it, but I don't believe
it's a major concern. It's often 78-80 degrees in our place here in
Miami and my crew has never had a problem with it. When Hurricane
Andrew blew everything away down here, we went without power for a
week and it was 90 every day. Sid wasn't terribly happy, but he did
just fine.

Nevertheless, I would recommend cooler temperatures. The higher
temperatures can be dangerous.
