Subject: [Ferret-Health-list] is he sick???

I would give him more time. It sounds like he might have somewhat of new
stressors in his life and needs to get better settled. The antibiotics may
also be decreasing his appetite, this happened with my ferret. Have you seen
any diarrhea with the Clavomox? This is a good antibiotic but not only does
it get rid of the bad bacteria but the good ones too which may cause some
loose stool. I found it helpful to give my ferret yougart(with active
cultures ) when this happened. It also gave him some extra calories and
sugar when his appetite was a little down for the meds.
