Thanks so much Kaye! I just kept trying my vet because he's the only one
within a couple hours driving distance that does emergencies off hours that
knows anything about ferret. I keep trying to give her some chicken broth and
she did drink some water during the night as well. Even though she threw up
she still drank some. I'm sure that saved her with how dehydrated she is.
She's at the vet's now (not my normal one but the one she'd seen before I got
her). They did xrays and saw that it's all gas stuck inside her. They have
her for the day and they're doing subqutaneous fluids and further xrays but
with some barium and a laxative. Hopefully this will solve the problem. I'll
let you all know further as things go! Thanks again so much! BTW, I had her
at the vet's office (her vet not my vet) by 9:30 this morning after a stop at
my vet. Thanks again!
