First and most importantly - if you vaccinate your ferrets or take them to
the vet at all and they are positive - then you are exposing them to your
vet's other ferret clients if he/she doesn't disinfect with the proper
disinfectant to kill ADV. So don't think your ferrets are not exposed to
other ferrets. Secondly, it will help those working with ADV and tracking
ADV figure out where and how they are being exposed - at a breeder's,
distributer's, vet office, pet sho, etc.
