Several years ago I noticed that one of my ferrets had
a bright cherry red nose, almost like it was bleeding,
and his pads were bright red too. I was getting ready
to rush him to the vet when I found a red ink pad on
the floor with claw marks in it. <grin> So it turned
out all he needed was a good cleaning instead of a
trip to the vet.
