Subject: Lupron 1 mo. vs. 4 mo. depot
I'm hoping someone can explain the difference between the 1 and 4 mo.
depots of Lupron. One of our kids has had 3 of the 1 mo. shots and
we just ordered the next set from Professional Arts, with the plan
that he'll get a shot every 4 mo. now. Our vet had us order the same
thing as before (I don't have the dosage handy, but for 3 vials of
the Lupron it was $105). I asked if we should be ordering a
different script instead for the 4 mo., but she said it was the same
script, it's just given every 4 mo. instead of every 1. Is this
right? Is there a different script we should be ordering? I guess
I'm confused about what the difference is between the 1 mo. and 4 mo.
depot.
