Subject: Re: [Ferret-Health-list] Hello, I am new here and need some
advice please

Thank you Russell,
No the vet didn't even try to scrape the nails, or
anything to that effect. He said it was some kind of
infection, and she is still takin antibiotics for her
UTI in which he said probably would help with the
feet. She will loose 3 nails possibly 4 now :( I
made him get a chem panel and cbc... he said the blood
work looks fine, other than a possible allergic
reaction to somethin.... I am sorry, but I am just NOT
impressed with him at all. he said if at the end of
the antibiotics it's not better he wants to see her
again. In the meantime we are epson salting her feet
twice a day, and alcohol once a week.... I went and
got some bag balm and am applyin that to the feet as
well. I know that bag balm does wonders, so figured
what the heck, and usin that on her feet. I could
take photos and upload to the group so that one could
see what her feet are lookin like. I will just be
happy when the nails fall off! At least that way it
will be fair chance in healing.

Thank you
Butterfly
