I have heard this quite a few times myself. Also, in "Ferrets,
Rabbits and Rodents - Clinical Medicine and Surgery," Dr. Susan Brown
says, in part, "Occasionally, siblings or several cohabiting ferrets
are involved. Preliminary transmission data suggest a viral agent
may be involved."
