Subject: hind end paralysis
Hi Py,
I don't know about the paralysis but the two numbers that concern me on
his blood results are the elevated BUN and creatin. Normal BUN is 12-43
and your ferret has 66. Normal range of creatin is 0.2 to 0.6 and
yours is 3.1. I would be worried about kidney function and switch to
low protein diet. I'm surprised your vet didn't say anything about
this. The blood glucose of 92 is within the normal range, so that
doesn't point to insulinoma. Is he eating on his own? I don't know how
to interpret the rest, so I hope the vets on the list can help you
further, but I'd be worried about his kidney function.
