Subject: Dry Pads

I was clipping nails recently and noticed that all of my ferrets
paw pads are VERY dry. They don't use any litter that would
contribute to the condition. I'm wondering why this is occurring.
Could it be the heat and dry air in the house? What can I do to
relieve it? Is it okay to use lotion? If so, what kind?
