Thanks for the reply, Angela.
I have not had her on a soft food diet. She has always been
good at eating kibble, and I use a high protein mix of foods.
She has not really had much in the way of symptoms, other then
sleeping more, and recently being a little wobbly.
I will be monitoring her more closely, though, and may start
giving her some chicken baby food twice a day.
She has very good teeth, and I attribute that, in part, to the
fact she does eat kibble.
For the test we just ran, because I wanted to make sure I did
not fast her for too long, I fed her some chicken baby food 4
hours before the test, and then let her eat a little kibble,
before taking food away.
I had expected her to have a low value, but was surprised it
was that low. She and I are both lucky she has not shown more
symptoms.
