It might be anything. Right now Fozzy needs an experience ferret vet.
Nothing else will do. I travel an hour each way to see one, and if it
meant five hours or more each way to save one of my fuzzies I'd do it in a
heartbeat.
Ferrets can go downhill very, very quickly. I'd say you need to find a
vet that has experience with ferrets *very* quickly.
I realize this answer may come off as a little cruel, but your post is
like so very many on this list and I felt like someboday had to say this
yet again. There just is no substitute for a good ferret vet, and
nobody can examine Fozzy by e-mail. I know you love your ferret and I
am not trying to be harsh towards you.
