You know this suggestion of reporting a reaction to the
manufacturer did us no good. I say this because I have had three of
my ten go into anaphylactic shock - one almost died on the table in
front of me- we (the vet) reported it all in detail. The response
from the manufacturer was non committal at best. They said no one
else had ever reported any problem..... great eh! So, I think there
should be some other way to get their attention........suggestions?

So my question is this. His reaction, while worrisome, was mild.
Should
I avoid vaccinating him again
You do not mention any pre-treatment. Personally, I would
pretreat with Benadryl, use the Merial vaccine, and vaccinate.
Also, your vet should report the reaction to the manufacturer.
