I have to agree about the chicken baby food. I have very good luck
putting weight on my ferrets with a mixture of chicken, banana, and
oatmeal baby food, and heavy whipping cream. As a matter of fact
they all like it so much they beg for it. However I do have one guy
who's about 3 yrs. old who is lean and has always been lean. He is
very very active and healthy. If you are concerned about your
ferret's weight, I urge you to take him to you veterinarian.
