Five months is awful young, though not entirely impossible for a
ferret to have adrenal problems at that age. To have two that are
five months old and in the same household seems almost impossible.

Any chance you can provide a better picture? It's not really clear
enough to see the details of the hair loss. Could it just be
seasonal shedding? Is there actually bare skin showing through or is
the hair just thinning? If it comes out quickly and gets all over
your clothes, it might just be shedding. Adrenal disease is usually
much more gradual.

My only other thought would be something environmental. The food and
litter you're using shouldn't be a problem.
