Subject: Pasturella Info Needed
Hello,
I am seeking to find as much information concerning this bacterium. I have noticed it is hard to get rid of. And it will come back.. That it is very contagious. I searched the archives and didn't see anything with this infection. Unless, I have missed it somewhere. I have a ferret going to the vet this evening with the possibility of have a reacurance. I have another who is getting better from having a bad case of it. If someone could tell me what books or anything that would provide me with this information it would be greatly appreciated. These babies do belong to a Ferret Business. One there appears to be getting it back. Are there any sure medications. Bactril is what is being used now. If a ferret has this could it still be active if they play on carpet? Is it airborne? Could stress bring an onset? I would like different opinions. Thank you
