Others with more knowledge probably can answer you better, but I did want
to mention that I've seen cases of ferrets testing negative on adrenal
tests that turned out to *have* adrenal disease when opened up. I've
recently heard of one ferret who showed NO signs of ill health or adrenal
disease symptoms who had been opened up because of a suspected blockage and
who turned out to have bilateral adrenal disease!! So just because the test
comes up negative, that doesn't *necessarily* mean they don't have it!

Has an x-ray been done to look for arthritis?
