Keldah,

What you're looking for is Ferretlax, or the similar Laxatone. It's
really just malt-flavored petroleum jelly. Since it can't be digested,
it binds to the swallowed hairs and helps pull them through. By all
means, get some and try it. It's a good idea to give them some
regularly whether they have problems or not - it helps prevent problems
from forming.

Yes, I too would be wary about feeding them Marshall's Bi-Odor. It's
an unnecessary chemical you're adding to their diet. It may not cause
any harm, but we can't be sure and they definitely don't need it. The
best way to control odor is by careful cleaning, as you're doing, and
by feeding the proper diet. Lots of fish in the diet causes odor
problems. Since Marshall's food has lots of fish, it almost seems
natural that they would also come up with a product like Bi-Odor. :-)
