Dear Judy: Haven't seen a tracheal mass in a ferret - it looks as if
you are going to have to seek out a referral surgeon on this one.
Chances are that you may have to put in a tracheostomy tube to bypass
the upper part of the trachea for removal. Can be done, but not
something that every practice is equipped to do.
