What an interesting case. I'll be anxious to hear ideas from
some of the vets here on this case. Maybe they will have
suggestions (or questions) for such a delicate area. It must be
horribly frustrating for you, espeicially to have this happen in
such a young ferret (yet age may be a great help in this case).
I've heard that there are skilled Vet surgeons that practice on
ferrets in Knoxville Tn,, ( at UT). I don't know of any
specifically to write you personally about. Maybe someone here can,
or write and recommend someone in Alabama.
