Subject: Re: Re: Abdomen swelling

Sukie, thankyou so very much for taking the time to reply. I
have made an appointment with the vet for Monday morning (the
earliest available), but if anything serious happens over the
weekend, I will most certainly call an emergency vet. Her
right side is still swolen and I am trying to monitor her
litter output. She has only pooped once in the last 10hrs and
that was very small, so I am keeping a very close eye on
things. She has been playing with her sisters today and is
eating well. You wouldn't think that anything was wrong with
her, other than the swelling. She is very active and alert.
I hope to have some good news to share on Monday and thankyou
again for your time. I know how very busy you all are and
appreciate having this wonderful list and all you dedicate to
it.

You need to have the ferret get a veterinary exam.

On the right it's not the spleen which will be on her left
side.

Long distance it is very hard to access such things. If it
were both
sides I'd ask if there was a water-balloon quality to it
because I'd
wonder about ascites from cardiomyopathy or another heart
problem,
liver illness, or kidney illness.
