Gas bloat often indicates an intestinal blockage. Grinding his teeth
indicates pain in his tummy, usually from an ulcer, but possibly from
the blockage. I believe I'd ask my vet to do an exploratory surgery and
find out just what is going on. I wouldn't give up on him until that is
done at least.
