Subject: Re: post-adrenal ferret losing skin; help needed, treating
vets stumped

Sukie & readers-

I did post several days ago about adrenal "hot spots"- this is burning /
abrasions caused by repeated licking of dry skin by the ferret.

We have seen it several times onver in bald kids at Ferret Wise. It is
these spots we topically applied calendula creme / calendula gel (
available in most health food stores-- make sure it is alcohol free) to
these areas and we saw great results in just a few days.

The calendula alcohol free is not a threat to health when licked in fact
calendula is sometimes used by naturopathics for indigestion problems.
