I have to agree that 42% is an amazing number. Remember that the
figure is not necessarily based only on surgery. Some of the
respondants used other treatments and some chose no treatment at
all. As I said, it's not a very scientific survey.

All of my adrenal surgeries have been successful, with the exception
of one. Penny had a bilateral adrenalectomy and like Squirt, her
symptoms never subsided until I started her on Lupron months later.

It's bad enough that they have to go through the disease and then the
surgery, but then to have it be unsuccessful is sad.
