The problem is that Lupron becomes as expensive as surgery in a matter of months. I am also unemployed right now and was already unemployed when a recent surgery came up. I worked out an extended payment arrangement with my vet. I would certainly talk to your vet about it. Lupron now, surgery later is just plain more expensive in the long run than surgery now.
