Subject: ECE Question
Wow, sounds like the one who lost 3, including
young ferret which normally don't get too sick
with ECE> I wonder if there is another virus out there,
or very viralent strain of ECE going around, much
more deadly then before.
But, before I panic everyone, cases need to be looked
into, ECE confirmed,etc.
I don't know what can be done to prevent the deaths,
if it is so severe as you describe. At the very first
day of onset start SQ fluids, and supportive care
immediately- usually not needed with regular ECE.
