I can't answer the Revolution question.
I had heard the same about Heartgard - this comment is in the Ferrets
for Dummies book. My vet just recently checked with Merial (the
manufacturer of Heartgard) who said that the ivermectin IS evenly
distributed and it is safe to break the tablets up like this.
In any event, my vet also found out that she could compound the
ivermectin with propylene glycol so that we can dose them with liquid
drops instead. I haven't tried this yet, though.
