In "Ferrets, Rabits and Rodents", Hillyer & Quesenberry give the formula
in easy terms. Mix 0.3 of ivermectin for injection with 28 ml of
propylene glycol and give 0.2 ml per kg once a month. Personally, I use
0.3 ml of ivermec to 30 ml of propylene glycol and give 0.1 ml per pound
once a month. The plan is to give 6 mcg per pound and either of the
above actually give 10 mcg which is close enough. The ferrets don't love
it, but they don't resist badly either.
