Subject: diabetes in ferrets?
I've heard a lot about ferrets getting insulinoma, but
what about the other end of the spectrum--diabetes?!
I searched the archives but only had one person say
their ferret was diabetic and needed insulin.
Obviously it is not as common as the other, but I
would like to know the symptoms to look for. Are they
the same as a human diabetic, i.e. drinking lots of
water, urinating a lot, bad circulation, eventual
blindness?
