Subject: Facial twitching
HI ALL
I have a 3 year old DEW male MF ferret. Yesterday he was lethargic and did
not want to play as usual. Today he is still lethargic, but now I notice a
muscle twitch in his face. (no nastagmus or torticolis) The twitch is pretty
consistant. He is eating well, stools are slightly softer than usual, but
of normal color. I am going to draw blood from him and take him to a
neurologist tomorrow. However, she is not familar with ferrets. So I am
asking if anyone has any ideas on what could be going on.
